A line-of-business (LOB) app is one that you add from an app installation file. This kind of app is typically written in-house. In this post I will describe how you can deploy an Line of Business application using Microsoft Intune.
- Sign in to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
- Select Apps > Windows (under platform) > Add.
- In the Select app type pane, under the Other app types, select Line-of-business app.
- Click Select. The Add app steps are displayed.
Select the LOB application and click on next
Choose Yes if you want to allow users to install this application using Company Portal.
Assign the application to the users.
Click on create to add application to Microsoft Intune.
Wait for the time application get successfully uploaded.
Wait for sometime, application will get automatically installed to the entitled windows device.
